In the 20th round of the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians have selected right-handed pitcher Nicholas Pasquale out of Diablo Valley College (CA).

Date of birth: 10/27/1990 - Height: 6’0” - Weight: 190 - Bats: Right - Throws: Right

Quick take: He transferred from Saint Mary’s College, and is signed to go to North Carolina State.  He has come along and grown a lot as a pitcher since high school and has an upper 80s fastball.

Jeff Ellis: Nick Pasquale is a pitcher who pitched for Diablo Valley Community college last year. In 110 innings he had a 1.88 ERA and 75 strikeouts. He had 14 starts and was really dominant walking only 16, which shows a degree of control. He is an interesting flyer type out of the Juco ranks.
