2012 Indians Draft: 6/21 Signing update

There is nothing new to report on 4th round pick outfielder D’Vone McClure and 8th round pick right-handed pitcher Caleb Hamrick, the lone remaining unsigned top ten round picks for the Indians. Both are prep players that are expected to be tough signs, and in the case of McClure he has a pretty strong commitment to the University of Arkansas. The Indians have around $1.2 million left in their bonus pool to sign these two players, so the money is definitely there to go overslot for both (McClure’s slot is $315K, Hamrick’s slot is $136K). Ultimately, it is expected that the Indians will sign both players but right now it is simply a negotiating game (and waiting game)...
