2013 Draft: July 10 signing update

The Cleveland Indians have signed 11th round draft pick right-handed pitcher Adam Plutko to a $300,000 signing bonus. With his signing they have now signed 25 of their 39 draft picks.

Plutko, 21, was a junior at UCLA and helped lead them to a national championship this season. He has been UCLA’s ace the last two years, and as a freshman in 2011 he was the #3 starter behind Trevor Bauer and Gerrit Cole – two pitchers that really helped him his first year in college. He ranks at the top or secon in UCLA history in wins and postseason wins.
