2013 IBI Positional Rankings: The Right-handed starters

Today we continue our 2013 prospect coverage here at the IBI with our final positional rankings piece on the Cleveland Indians farm system. This time we will review the right-handed starters.

There is no doubt that right-handed starting pitching and starting pitching in general is one of the Indians weakest positions in the entire organization. Their lack of very many internal options to fill a starting rotation need at the Major League level was a big reason they really targeted young upper level pitching in trades this offseason. Trevor Bauer was a big pickup and should help their immediate and future needs for the rotation if he stays healthy and performs well, but they have been unable to bring in any additional arms as hoped.
