2013 Indians 30th round pick: LHP Aaron Brown
In the 30th round of the 2013 Draft the Cleveland Indians select left-handed pitcher Aaron Brown from Pepperdine University (CA).
Born: 06/20/1992 - Height: 6'2" - Weight: 200 - Bats: Left - Throws: Left
Baseball America: 97th
Perfect Game: 85th
Jonathan Mayo: 97th
Jeff Ellis: Brown is now the second biggest name the Indians have drafted. He is a near impossible signing. He is a draft eligible sophomore. He was hurt this year and missed some time, but he is still a big lefty with four better than average pitches. His fastball sits in the low to mid 90's and with work could be a mid 90's pitch. He is a good athlete who has been a two-way player. He would be best served just sticking to pitching and just gaining polish. He needs time, but worst case you end up with a solid left handed pen arm with Brown.
