In the 32nd round of the 2013 Draft the Cleveland Indians select right-handed pitcher Cortland Cox from Riverside CC (CA).

Born: 11/03/1994 - Height: 6'1" - Weight: 185 - Bats: Right - Throws: Right

Jeff Ellis: Cox is the second player taken from Riverside CC in this draft by the Indians. The first was his teammate Kerry Matthews. He will be a harder sign this late and because he is only a freshman.  Much like Matthews, he pitched as a starter and in the pen this year. He put up stronger numbers with a  4:1 K:BB ratio along with an ERA of 2.10. It will be interesting to see if the Indians can sign the two teammates.
