In the 40th round of the 2013 Draft the Cleveland Indians select third baseman Dan Pellinen from NorthWoods School (MN).

Born: 08/22/1994 - Height: 6'2" - Weight: 185 - Bats: Right - Throws: Right

Jeff Ellis: Thanks to the long winter, not a lot of people saw Pellinen this year which might be to the Indians' benefit. He is a big body outfielder with some athleticism and power. His arm looks good for a corner outfielder. His bat speed and overall speed is above average. There are a lot of moving parts to his swing, which might need to be reworked. He is committed to a junior college and thus might be signable even late. I like the growth potential in him as a big risk/reward type.
