2013 IPI Positional Rankings: The Center Fielders

Today we continue our 2013 prospect coverage here at the IPI with another positional rankings piece on the Cleveland Indians farm system. This time we will review the center fielders.

One of the Indians better strengths in the minors is their depth in center field. Outside of shortstop and right-handed relief pitching, it might be the next best position of strength in the organization. They used their first round pick in this year’s draft to select Tyler Naquin and he appears to have a bright future, and they have also added several other players from recent drafts or from Latin American that have interesting upside like Tyler Holt, D’Vone McClure, Luigi Rodriguez, Logan Vick, and LeVon Washington.
