2013 IPI Positional Rankings: The Left-handed relievers

Today we continue our 2013 prospect coverage here at the IPI with another positional rankings piece on the Cleveland Indians farm system. This time we will review the left-handed relievers.

While the Indians continue to make moves this offseason to shore up needs at the Major League level, one area where they continue to have a need is left-handed relief. At the moment, with the departure of Rafael Perez (designated for assignment) and Tony Sipp (traded), the Indians’ only internal options to fill a left-handed role in the bullpen next season are Nick Hagadone and Scott Barnes, and possibly David Huff and the newly signed Scott Kazmir.
