With their 15th round pick in the 2014 Draft the Cleveland Indians have selected right-handed pitcher Luke Eubank out of Oxnard College (CA).

Born: 2/24/1994 – Height: 6’0” – Weight: 180 – Bats: Right – Throws: Right

Baseball America: 234

Jeff Ellis: Luke Eubank might make it back to back unsignable players for the Indians. Eubank is a smaller right hander at 6’1” from Oxnard College. He was unhittable in high school but was undrafted because of lack of size and velocity. He is now up to the high 80’s to low 90’s which is why he jumped on the draft radar. He is a sinkerball guy who is best off throwing it as much of the time as he can. Like most guys who have a really good sinker, his other pitches are more show me pitches though his slider can occasionally flash plus. Eubank is an interesting guy who has some nice upside because his sinkerball looks to be a plus pitch. He would be another great add to the system if he can be signed.
