The Indians system was showing off a bit of their offense on Monday, as several Indians prospects showed off their skills with multiple hits. Today's ATF will say hello to the two top non-pitching prospects in the system, as well as the two last #1 picks. The pitching played a part on Monday as well, although the prospects aren't as prominent. Jim Pete takes you around the farm.

It's good to be back in the saddle here at ATF, as we take a look at Sunday's performances from accross the system. The Akron Aeros got a massive boost offensively by the top of their order, who absolutely hit the cover off the ball. The Mudcats swept the Dash in High A action and Joey Wendle brought out his whipping stick to help carry his team. Join Jim Pete as he takes you around the Indians organization.

I close out my 2013 pre-season work with my 2013 preview for the Indians High A affiliate, the Carolina Mudcats. The Muddies appear to be loading up with top prospects, as ten of the top 60 start off the year with Carolina, and with another three or four ready to make the move when there's an opening. With an established Indians' coaching staff, led by last year's Lake County Skipper David Wallace, the Mudcats look to bring excitement to the Raleigh area in 2013.

The opening day roster in 2013 provided Indians fans with a look at the team that was completely reshaped with several big moves during the months that followed the 2012 season. Jim Pete takes a look at the 2013 roster, and takes one last look back on the team in 2012 that helped shape it.

In 2012, the Indians finished with the fifth-worst record in all of baseball at 68-94. The Indians have upgraded their on-the-field management with Terry Francona and revamped their on-the-field product with multiple, high-level, free-agent signings. The Indians are clearly improved on paper, but how much have they really improved? The black & white of true improvement lies in one area, and one area only: wins. How many wins will the Cleveland Indians end up with in 2013?

The Indians brought out the minor leaguers on Tuesday after they got blasted on Monday night, and while they lost the game 7-6 to the A's, top prospect Francisco LIndor put on a defensive display. Zach McAllister scuffled a bit, but Chris Perez returned and looked pretty nasty. The Indians lost the game, but if there ever was a game in which I was left impressed after a loss, this was it.

The Cleveland Indians had a rough visit to Salt River Field on Monday Night, as the Colorado Rockies managed to make Arizona look like the thin air of Colorado. The pasted the Indians, scoring 18 runs on 26 hits on the night, and just beat up on the Indians' Brett Myers, David Huff and Rich Hill.

The Cleveland Indians announced the beginning of their final roster moves on Monday afternoon. While there are still some questions as to who will make up the final 25-man roster when they break camp next weekend, most were answered in a flurry of moves. The Cleveland Indians have made dramatic improvements over the offseason, which turned what likely would have been a lost year into one of curiosity. The Detroit Tigers remain loaded, and may have the three best players in the American League, let alone the AL Central, and the Kansas City Royals have the most talent, and could be ready to take a Tampa Bay Rays-type move from a few years ago. I haven't even mentioned the White Sox or the Twins yet. Who wins the division?

Daisuke Matsuzaka initially accepted a demotion the Triple A Columbus after Tribe manager Terry Francona told the right-handed starter that he wasn't going to make the 25-man roster last week. This weekend, things changed quickly as the Indians announced on Sunday night that he was being released from his minor league deal. Is there a renegotiation going on, or is Matsuzaka moving on?

The Cleveland Indians will be breaking camp in a week, and while most of the roster seems set, there may be more players in the mix than initially thought. Here's a detailed look at the Indians remaining position battles in Goodyear over the final week of spring training. The only question left is, will the players that deserve to make the roster, actually make the roster? Take a trip to Arizona with this week's Tribe Happenings...

Carrasco made his last case for a rotational turn in Cleveland, but the cards are stacked against him with his suspension and injury playing a key part in the decision-making process. Jim Pete shares his spring training thoughts as the Indians take on the Diamondbacks in preseason action.

The Indians Trevor Bauer took the mound on Wednesday for the Cleveland Indians in his quest to earn the fifth spot in the rotation.
