Projected statistics for 2015 have been posted by Steamer Projections Blog and, while it’s difficult to predict what a team will look like six months before Opening Day, it offers Tribe fans clamoring for next year an early look at what they might expect. The IBI's Steve Garton reviews the projections and offers up his quick thoughts on them.

Indians players have been sporting t-shirts with the motto “Unfinished Business” -- a call to extending their run from last year to winning a World Series championship in 2014. However, they have some unfinished business to take care of off of the field if they plan to keep that window open beyond this season. That unfinished business is, of course, keeping Justin Masterson in Cleveland.

This past weekend marked the second installment of “Tribe Fest”, an Indians event intended to connect fans with Indians players, coaches, alumni, and front office staff. As Northeast Ohio endures the current arctic blast, it’s good to know warm weather and good baseball aren’t too far off at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. For those that missed the event, here are some details on what went down.

Building a team capable of winning a World Series used to be Mark Shapiro’s responsibility, but when he was promoted to team President in 2010 he has been responsible for a re-branding effort of the Cleveland Indians’ public image. Under Shapiro, the Indians have made a concerted effort in improving the game day experience for fans and making Progressive Field a family-friendly environment, and he goes into detail on a lot of things in this IBI exclusive.

The Indians are on their way to their 11th season in 13 years under the ownership of Larry Dolan where they will miss the playoffs. They have gone through two rebuilds under his watch, and may be on the cusp of a third. Fan favorites have left via free agency or been traded. Attendance has plummeted to last in MLB. In his inaugural piece for the IPI, Steve Garton - a season ticket holder - says it is time for Dolan to sell.
