It was a quiet night in winter ball for the Indians as two of the leagues were not in action, and there were just three games total that were played in the Dominican Winter League and Venezuela Winter League. But the was still some Indians action last night, and Tony chimes in with an update on how things went for Carlos Santana on the night.

Well, look what the cat dragged in. Carlos Santana made his winter league debut with Escogido in the Dominican last night, and helped out his future teammate, Danny Salazar during his first four inning start of the winter league season. Congrats to Yan Gomes and his Brazil teammates who beat Panama 1-0 on Monday night to earn a berth in the 16-team World Baseball Classic tournament that gets underway this spring.
