Jacob Lee and Louis Head continue to dominate the New York/Penn League and are making a case to be considered elite relievers in the system. Steven Wright's knuckleball needs to start knuckling again. Jeremie Tice has hits now in 12 of his 13 total games. Tonight's ATF leader is a guy that many probably have never heard of, but he's been playing well of late, and makes his first headlining appearance under my watch...after the jump...

In another trip "Around the Farm", Tony notes the big game Triple-A Columbus outfielder Tim Fedroff had last night as he was just a single short of hitting for the cycle, and also Low-A Lake County third baseman Leonardo Castillo arguably had his best game of the season with four hits. In addition to them, several others are noted including players like Chen, Canzler, Ramirez, Paulino and others who all hit homers last night.

The Indians got the post-4th of July celebration cranked up with lots of good performances up and down their farm system on Thursday night. Tony chimes in on Around the Farm today to recap some of those good - and some bad - performances, and takes special note of the Double-A debut of Tyler Holt and the smoking hot Joe Wendle in Mahoning Valley.

The Columbus Clippers and Lake County Captains each provided fireworks with no less than eight ballplayers on each team with multiple hits, and every player finding a way to get on base. Ryan Rohlinger celebrated his recent Triple A promotion with a grand slam, while Jose Ramirez had three more hits in Lake County. The star of the ATF show is an outfielder in Akron, who continues to climb back up the prospect charts. Find out who it is, after the jump...

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYBODY! July third action saw Jorge Martinez continue his offensive onslaught in the Arizona League, while Matt LaPorta and Juan Romero each blasted another home run. Tyler Naquin ripped his first professional triple, and Elvis Araujo regained some balance. Enosil Tejeda continued to dominate as a closer, while a rather new addition to the Indians reliever corp continues to really make a name for himself. Join IPI on this Independence Day for our daily dose of Around the Farm...

Rob Bryson was once thought of as an elite arm, and showed why last night in his most dominating performance to date. Giovanny Urshela may not be a top prospect, but his current offensive stretch may turn a few heads. At the top of ATF is a guy who may be the most important prospect in the system. Check out just who that is with our daily dose of Around the Farm, after the jump...

Ryan Merritt got his second win in as many starts at Mahoning Valley. Tyler Naquin and Tyler Holt each had a 3-for-4 night playing centerfield. Both are trying to break the mold of the "Trevor Crowe-type" outfielder, and made some inroads on Sunday. The top player in tonight's ATF is the guy that took over the DH role from Jeremie Tice at Carolina. Nope, it's not Jesus Aguilar. Find out who it is, after the jump.

Jeremie Tice continue to make the Eastern League his offensive playground with two more hits on Saturday Night. Alex Monsalve hit his sixth homer with a multi-hit game of his own. Chun Chen rolled out another double in a three-hit performance for Akron, to join Tice as two of the hottest hitters in the system. Chen and Tice had five hits combined, which equals the total of tonight's ATF headliner, a little known Lake County middle infielder.

Canzler can hit the ball a ton, and continued that with his tenth homer on Friday Night. Thomas Neal is beginning to officially dominated Double A pitching. Kyle Bellows is finding his bat, and Jeanmar Gomez had a spectacular return to Columbus. The top of the heap for tonight's ATF is a prospect in Carolina who has exploded since an April swoon. Join Jim Piascik to find out who that is...after the jump...

The Indians had lots of great highlights up and down the system last night. Jerrud Sabourin supplied the dramatics with a walkoff three-run homer, Dorsyss Paulino continues to show why he is one of the best Latin signings by the Indians in recent years, Thomas Neal continued his torrid month of June, and much more. Join Tony as he takes a trip "Around the Farm" and highlights all of the Indians' minor league action from last night.

Nick Weglarz is some kind of hot of late at Double-A Akron. Dare we say he is back? Felix Sterling has really struggled of late with Low-A Lake County. Has his prospect value taken a tumble? Stevie-O highlights both players and more in another edition of IPI's original daily look "Around the Farm"...

It was another busy night around the Indians farm system as all six stateside affiliates were in action. Jesus Aguilar had a big night with two homers and just missed on another by a foot, Cody Allen looks like he could be Cleveland bound at any moment, Thomas Neal continues to show a renewed power stroke, and lots more. Steve Orbanek pinch hits for Jim Pete to recap last night's action "Around the Farm"...

Luis DeJesus brought the business end of a eight strikeouts at Mahoning Valley. Alex Monsalve may turn out to be one of the most important prospects in the entire system with his clear, high learning curve. Russ Canzler has actually burst into flames, and Jeremie Tice had two more RBI's. Who topped ATF? How about a home-run hitting, right-handed bat...at least for one night.

Chun Chen rolled out four more hits on Sunday, with three of them doubles, driving in three batters. But he wasn't at the top of the ATF heap. Joseph Colon again looked like an ace, rebounding from a horrid start, but he wasn't at the top of the ATF heat. The top guy at ATF may just be the best lefty in the system, and perhaps even end up the next call-up if he were to play his cards right. Join Jim Pete as he sherpa's you to the top of ATF.

LaPorta must have really missed his time with one of the top spots here at ATF, because as sure as I'm an Indians fan, here's LaPorta again. Ronnie Rodriguez is really starting to turn a corner, and once he does, he may see Akron. Tonight's top spot at ATF goes to a guy that has seemingly lost his home-run power, or has he. Join Jim Pete as he uses Saturday Night's ATF to search for the elusive Chun Chen HR...

The man they call "Big Red" is back to performing at a level that was once expected of him. Nick Weglarz is healthy and his play has skyrocketed as a result, and with his tear over the last month (the best in the league) he may be back on the big league radar. Tony takes a look at Weglarz along with Luigi Rodriguez's big night to start his second half, Steven Wright's consistency, and lots more...

The second half of the High-A season officially got underway last night as Carolina was back in action, and with that it also meant big Jesus Aguilar was back at the plate ready to strike fear into opposing pitchers. Tony recaps the night that was in the Indians farm system from Triple-A Columbus down through rookie level Arizona and touches on Aguilar's big night, the emergence of Luis Lugo, and more.

T.J. House had a big start on Wednesday, rebounding from his worst outing of the season. Tim Fedroff went 4-for-4, reminding Tribe brass that there is certainly a fourth outfielder in the system that just continues to perform. Some kid named Matt LaPorta is back and hitting...big surprise. The top slot of ATF goes to some kid with a strang last name? Join Jim for the Naquin-edition of ATF...after the jump...

Juan Romero hit his third homer in his first two ball games with Mahoning Valley, announcing his presence with authority. Corey Kluber continued to rise up the rankings with another dominating performance for the Clippers. Nick Weglarz is up to .251 on the season, and Bryan Price grabbed his fourth save. Won't you come cycling with tonight's top player on ATF? Find out who got out their bike for the Clippers...after the jump...

Matt LaPorta belted his 15th homer for the Clippers, while Ezequiel Carrera added one of his own. T.J. McFarland pitched well again for the Clippers, while Brett Brach did the same for the Aeros. Thomas Neal continued to show something at the top of the order, and Preston Guilmet continued to show something at the back-end of the bullpen. Tonight's ATF star hails from a new land, a land called Mahoning Valley. He belted two homers on the night. Find out who, after the jump...
