Ezequiel Carrera was the only Indian in action on Wednesday, though the left-handed hitter was competing in an important game as it was game one of the VWL Championship Series. Also, Carrera's teammate Carlos Zambrano was on the mound for Navegantes del Magallanes, and he could be an intriguing option for the Indians to explore as a possible minor league signing. The IBI's Steve Orbanek recaps all the action as he takes you Around the Farm.

The major league hot stove season has had a bit of a lull, but like the sands in an hourglass, the Tribe's system continues moving through time, heading towards spring training. Rob Bryson made his nineteenth appearance tonight, and while the numbers showcase a nice winter, today added a bit of a blemish. Campbell stayed hot in Austrailia, and Cid and Ramirez battled in a playoff, face-off. Join Jim Pete with another edition of Around the Farm.

Cleveland prospects were playing in both Venezuela and Australia on Saturday night, and putting on quite the offensive display. In the VWL playoffs, Zeke Carrera was facing off against Asdrubal Cabrera and Jesus Aguilar, and helped his team take a 4-3 lead. He also had a hand in keeping a future Tribe teammate from scoring go-ahead run. Andrew Campbell continued a hot stretch with a blast in a successful doubleheader. Join Jim Pete for another edition of Around the Farm.

Jesus Aguilar's early winter struggles seem to be a thing of the past, and the hulking first baseman provided further evidence for that argument on Wednesday when he recorded a home run in his third straight game. Aguilar was not the only member of Leones del Caracas to impress on the evening though as Asdrubal Cabrera had a great night at the plate and collected three hits. The Indians have addressed many of their needs this offseason, but are far from being a complete, competitive team. While "making a splash" with a big signing isn't likely, the Indians certainly are keeping the fans on their toes with their hot stove league movement. Join Jim Pete as he looks at potential signing of several seemingly unatainable free agents and trade options.
