With the Arizona Fall League taking their normal Sunday off, it was slim pickings for Cleveland Indians' prospects. Eric Berger was still able to throw out his best start of the winter league season, and Hector Rondon continued to rebound after a tough start. The Indians farm hands continued their winter league progression with another rather light night of play. Highlighting Saturday night's baseball was another return of sorts for one of the Tribe's top ten prospects. The World Series kicked off last night, but there were other games going on involving professional baseball players out in Arizona, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela. Jesus Aguilar's struggles continued last night, Alex Monsalve is still adjusting to more advanced pitching, Matt Packer is on the mend, and old friend Vidal Nuno continues to impress in winter ball. The AFL and Caribbean Winter Leagues proceeded, and IPI was there bringing all the Indians' action. There was a distinct smell of the Carolina League, with eight of nine Indians players mentioned today all with CL experience. While the Major League Baseball postseason is in full swing, the offseason baseball leagues are also a week into their season's. The Indians continue to put up some good showings in the Arizona Fall League, Dominican Winter League and Venezuela Winter League this offseason, and yesterday Tyler Holt and Trey Haley both continued that trend with good showings.

Winter and fall leagues are beginning to heat up, and the Indians had players playing in both the Arizona Fall League and the Venezuela Winter League on Friday. Jesus Aguilar put together a nice showing in Venezuela while Shawn Armstrong continues to show why he was a deserving recipient of the 2012 Tony Award for Reliever of the Year.
