The World Series kicked off last night, but there were other games going on involving professional baseball players out in Arizona, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela. Jesus Aguilar's struggles continued last night, Alex Monsalve is still adjusting to more advanced pitching, Matt Packer is on the mend, and old friend Vidal Nuno continues to impress in winter ball. All three of the major offseason winter leagues were back in action on Tuesday night, and several players throughout the Indians' organization played. Trey Haley, Tyler Holt and Ronny Rodriguez continue to hold their own in the AFL, while Jesus Aguilar went deep for the first time this offseason and Hector Rondon continues his road back to the Major League radar. It was a quiet night on the Indians' front with players in action last night thanks to off nights in the Dominican Winter League and Venezuela Winter League. But, the Arizona Fall League was back in action after a day off on Sunday and Tyler Holt and Shawn Armstrong continued their good showing.

With the Arizona Fall League taking the day off, and with Leones del Caracas getting postponed, there wasn't much action for current Indians on Sunday. There were still two players from the advanced levels that performed, and with mixed results. The AFL and Caribbean Winter Leagues proceeded, and IPI was there bringing all the Indians' action. There was a distinct smell of the Carolina League, with eight of nine Indians players mentioned today all with CL experience. Winter leagues continued on Friday, which means a number of Indians players were in action. Jesus Aguilar and Tim Fedroff each recorded hits for their respective teams, and T.J. Several Indians were in action on Monday in fall and winter ball out in Arizona and Venezuela. Ronny Rodriguez and Alex Monsalve continue to adjust to the much higher caliber competition than they are used to while Eric Berger shined in his offseason league debut and Jesus Aguilar continues to struggle out of the gates.

While the Major League Baseball postseason is in full swing, the offseason baseball leagues are also a week into their season's. The Indians continue to put up some good showings in the Arizona Fall League, Dominican Winter League and Venezuela Winter League this offseason, and yesterday Tyler Holt and Trey Haley both continued that trend with good showings.

Winter and fall leagues are beginning to heat up, and the Indians had players playing in both the Arizona Fall League and the Venezuela Winter League on Friday. Jesus Aguilar put together a nice showing in Venezuela while Shawn Armstrong continues to show why he was a deserving recipient of the 2012 Tony Award for Reliever of the Year.
