There was only one game on the docket in the Indians farm system on Sunday as only one team is still left standing this season. Well, that team will be left standing a little longer as the Low-A Lake County Captains won Game 2 of their Eastern Division Finals series and clinched a berth into the best-of-five Midwest League Championship Series which starts in Kane County on Wednesday. The IBI's Tony Lastoria recaps all of the action from this game...

All good things must come to an end. That's what happened for Triple-A Columbus and Double-A Akron on Saturday as both saw their season's come to an end after a Game 4 loss. However, all of the news was not bad as Low-A Lake County won their second round series opener. The IBI's Arthur Kinney recaps the playoff action and individual play, notes the decision looming on Francisco Lindor, and more.

The playoffs started Wednesday night for the Columbus Clippers, Akron RubberDucks, and Lake County Captains, with two of the three teams ending the night with a win. Though it was obviously more than a one-person effort, the Clippers and Captains used big nights from an outfielder to find victory (James Ramsey and Clint Frazier, respectively), while Duke von Schamann did his best for the RubberDucks in a loss. Join Jim Piascik as he recaps all of the playoff action and takes you Around the Farm.

With the season winding down, it is time for players to try to make their final impressions on the organization before heading into the long offseason. For players like Joey Wendle (who missed a big chunk of the season due to injury), however, these final days are critical to make up for lost time. Join Arthur Kinney as he breaks down Wendle doing just that Friday and recaps the rest of the action in the organization as he takes you Around the Farm.

Thursday night in the Cleveland organization was highlighted by the old and the new. At this point, Nellie Rodriguez putting up big numbers in Lake County has become old news, as the first baseman has spent most of 2014 doing just that. Casey Shane shutting down the New York-Penn League is new, however, as the 2013 sixth round pick was only recently called up from the Arizona League. Join Jim Piascik as he recaps all of the action in the organization as he takes you Around the Farm.

One week remains in the minor league regular season. Some players are playing out the string as their teams have little chance to make the playoffs, but a lot of players are right in the thick of a playoff race and coming up clutch. One such player is Torsten Boss who may have had the hit of the season for the Mudcats on Sunday. The IBI's Tony Lastoria shares the details and more in Around the Farm...

Though his first exposure to Triple-A has not gone perfectly, Francisco Lindor looked good Friday night. Lindor had the first four-hit night of his Triple-A career and extended his hitting streak to three games with hits in 10 of his last 11. Clint Frazier and Carlos Moncrief highlighted the night for the organization on Thursday, but the pair are pretty different when it comes to their developmental status. As a young outfielder in Low-A, Frazier's performance on-the-field matters less than Moncrief's, who is an older player in Triple-A. Join Jim Piascik as he breaks down what that means in addition to recapping the rest of the action from throughout the minor leagues as he takes you Around the Farm.

Now. We always want things now. Better sooner than later. Yet, when it comes to prospects, it is often about the long game. D'vone McClure's stock has fallen after two subpar seasons in Arizona, yet the outfielder is still only 20 years old. Dace Kime may be a bit older than McClure, but the 22-year-old is only in his first full professional season. These players are not supposed to be finished products, and looking between the lines, there are positive signs for both. Join Jim Piascik as he recaps McClure and Kime's performances and the rest of the action from throughout the organization as he takes you Around the Farm.
