A lot of Indians were in action once again on Thursday night in the Arizona Fall League and Venezuela Winter League. Jesus Aguilar came down to Earth at the plate, Ezequiel Carrera had a strong game, Will Roberts started and had a typical outing for him, and others got in and played as well.

The insanity that is first baseman Jesus Aguilar's offseason continued on Wednesday night as the hulking first baseball completed his first week of winter ball with his sixth straight multi-hit game and hit another bomb. The Arizona Fall League was off as usual on Sunday, but the Venezuela Winter League was in action and two Indians prospects had big days. First baseman Jesus Aguilar continued his assault on pitchers in Venezuela while right-hander Bryan Price made his offseason debut and had a solid outing.

The Arizona Fall League was off on Saturday but the Venezuela Winter League was in action and only one Indians player was in action. Jesus Aguilar put together yet another stellar night for the Indians reaching base in four of his five plate appearances and is really off to a great start this offseason.

The Indians played the first of three scheduled games against the NC Dinos (Changwon) of the Korea Professional Baseball. Things did not go so well for the young Tribe as they were shut down by a score of 8-1, a score indicative of a young team facing unique arm slot pitchers for the first time. Tony was there and provides the full stats for all of the players that played in the game and insight into how each player looked.

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers finished their season Wednesday night, once again posting a shutout en route to a victory. The Scrappers only allowed three runs in their four September games, but a consistent star for the team led the way. It may be the end of the season, but some history was made on Sunday as three pitchers for short-season Single-A Mahoning Valley combined for the second no-hitter in franchise history. Luis Gomez, Carlos Melo and Kerry Doane pitched their way into the history books with nine hitless-scoreless innings and racked up 12 strikeouts in the process.
