For the most part, it was an "it could be worse" type of start for the Indians. As first reported in a tweet on Thursday by the IBI's Tony Lastoria, the Indians are prepared to call up infielder Jose Ramirez from Triple-A Columbus. Ramirez did not play with Columbus on Thursday because he was en route to Cleveland. The Indians are expected to place Jason Kipnis on the disabled list though there are other possibilities as well.
