The Cleveland Indians lost to the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night by a score of 9-2. Much like the Indians enjoyed the previous game, the Reds had their ace, Johnny Cueto, on the hill. Cueto did not disappoint as he threw a complete game while only yielding two runs, but the game may have been much different if not for a crazy play in the seventh inning. The IBI's Charlie Adams provides his second thoughts...

Probably the most fascinating person in the entire Cleveland Indians organization to talk to is Johnny Goryl. Things have been trending upward of late for the Indians. With a three game winning streak entering the game, the Indians sent Corey Kluber to the mound to open a four game (two at home, two on the road) stretch against the Cincinnati Reds. After another strong performance from their ace, the team has now moved to just 2.5 games back of the Blue Jays for the second Wild Card spot and 5.5 games back of Detroit in the division. The IBI's Michael Goodman provides his second thoughts...

Is it because of the calming influence of Terry Francona and the other leaders in the clubhouse? Is it because the race for the final AL wild card spot is full of flawed teams? Or is it just a complete luck of the draw? Somehow, this ball club, with all its imperfections, now has only three games sitting between them and a playoff berth. Join the IBI's Jake Dungan as he discusses the highlights of Sunday's walk-off win.

It started rough, eased up late and ended so smooth. Operating in extra innings against the Rangers knotted in a 3-3 tie, Cleveland's favorite doctor came up and saved the life of the game.
