Official Roster Moves & Columbus Affiliation Extended
The Cleveland Indians today announced that they have purchased the contracts of right-handed pitcher Vinnie Pestano and catcher Luke Carlin from Triple-A Columbus, bringing the active roster to thirty-one (31). Also Mike Sarbaugh, Manager of the Columbus Clippers, will be joining the coaching staff for the remainder of the season.

The Clippers faced-off against the PCL-winning Tacoma Rainiers on Tuesday night for a chance to call themselves the Triple-A National Champions and they did not disappoint. Triple-A Columbus right-handed pitcher Vinnie Pestano has been called up to Cleveland for the final week and a half of the season.
