The Scrapperbook: Season in Review
It seems like just yesterday we were taking a look at all the new, fresh faces we were about to watch this season. It certainly went quick, and while the record was not one to remember for the Scrappers, the season proved that there are positives that you won't see in any box score, record, etc. I look forward to the 2011 season and starting over again with more fresh faces. Thank you all for taking...

Rodriguez hopes for utility bill this month
The International League playoffs kickoff tomorrow when Triple-A Columbus takes on Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in the opening round of the minor league postseason. It is a time of the year when a great majority of minor leaguer players have already packed their bags and are on their way home for the offseason, while other players that are playoff bound are focused on winning a league championship.

Akron's Week That Was: 8/30 - 9/5
The white flag is up at Canal Park. The Aeros are riding their first playoff-less season since 2004 in ugly fashion. The Aeros are in danger of finishing below .500 and will do so with a loss to Erie tonight, but more importantly the club was eliminated from playoff contention after a horrendous week on the road. The club was dropped by Trenton in three of the four games to all but eliminate them...

The rookie-level Arizona League Indians season came to a close last weekend, ending an interesting campaign that saw the Indians send a very young team out on the field almost every night.
They finished the 2010 season with a 21-35 (.375) overall record, good for last place in the four team AZL Central Division. As a team, the AZL Indians offense finished the season last in the 12-team league...
