Around the Farm (ATF) takes a quick look at some of yesterday’s performances by Indians prospects throughout the system. This is a special fall and winter ball version of ATF that recaps all the offseason action by Indians players in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) and the Caribbean Leagues. The positions listed below are where the player was playing in yesterday’s game.

Anthony Gallas (Aguilas del Zulia, starting RF) - 0-4, 3 K - Gallas' early winter ball struggles continued as he picked up a hat trick in strikeouts before being pinch-hit for by Phillies prospect Wilmer Oberto in the top of the ninth inning.

Audy Ciriaco (Estrellas Orientales, 3B) - 1-3, 1 K - Ciriaco ends a three-game hitless streak, but is still only 7-for-33 (.212) in his last 10 games.

J.C. Ramirez (Gigantes de Carolina, RP) - 0.2 IP, 1 H, 1 K - J.C.-Ram was called in to finish a four-man combined shutout of the Cangrejeros de Santurce after Blue Jays Double-A veteran John Anderson began to struggle. He just signed with the Rangers so this should be the last update with him in it.

Roberto Perez (Indios de Mayaguez, DH) - 1-2, 1 RBI, 3 BB (1 intentional), 1 K - Perez got the night off behind the plate and, given how many free passes he got to first, ended up getting the night off from having to swing the bat as well.

Tim Fedroff (Mayos de Navojoa, RF) - 2-4, 1 K - Another solid night from the minor league free agent.  Someone could pick him up soon if this form continues.
