Around the Farm (ATF) takes a quick look at some of the daily performances by Indians prospects. This is a special fall and winter ball version of ATF that recaps all the offseason action by Indians players in offseason winter ball leagues.  The positions listed below are where the player was playing in the game.

Carlos Santana (Leones del Escogido, 3B): 1-for-4, 1 R, 1 BB, 1 K, 1 E. This may very well be the end of Carlos Santana's winter.  His Leones del Escogido lost 3-2 to the Tigres del Licey to lose the LIDPOM Serie Final five games to three.  If this is how he finishes it up, it was in a style representative of his short offseason campaign as a whole:  solid, but unspectacular at the plate with an error in the field.  He may get picked up as a refuerzo by Licey for the Caribbean series, but I think the rest might do him more good right now.

By the way, for anyone wondering how he performed in Game 7 on Monday Night, you didn't miss much.  He went 0-for-4 with 1 K.

The Navegantes del Magallanes (who, like Licey, have no current indians oraganization players on their Serie Final roster) defeated the Caribes de Anzoategui 11-6 to take the LVBP Serie Final four games to one.

While the game was still in progress as of press time, the Naranjeros de Hermosillo have a chance to close out the LMP serie Final.

While nothing is certain until the official Series rosters are announced, it is certainly looking like a a Wahoo-less Serie del Caribe. And with that, would make this the final Around the Farm until spring games in March!

Solid sample size to make those kind of judgments, shy. Keep being your moronic self.

Final 2 games of a playoff 1 for 8 with an error- this in his home country against minor league pitching. I've been saying this guy is a buzz-killer for 3 years- he is not doing anything to change my mind.
