Here is a quick recap of how the players in the Cleveland Indians' system did in fall/winter league action on Tuesday November 16th:
  • Jason Kipnis - DH, Peoria Javelinas: 2-for-4, R, 2B, RBI, K. Kipnis with his 5th straight multi-hit game, and 6th in his last 7 games. His recent tear has him up to .288/.333/.630, which is incredible considering where his batting average was just a week ago.
  • Cord Phelps - 3B, Peoria Javelinas: 3-for-5, 2 R, HR, RBI, E. Phelps now hitting .382/.489/.579 in 18 AFL games. He has 7 multi-hit games in his last ten games, 6 multi-hit games in his last 7 games. What an amazingly hot finish.
  • Jose Constanza - CF, Toros del Este: 1-for-4, SB. Constanza back in the lineup in the Dominican Republic for the first time in 10 days, likely the result of an injury. Hitting .412 in eight games with 5 stolen bases.
