Around the Farm (ATF) takes a quick look at some of the daily performances by Indians prospects. This is a special fall and winter ball version of ATF that recaps all the offseason action by Indians players in offseason winter ball leagues.  The positions listed below are where the player was playing in the game.

Joe Colon (Cangrejeros de Santurce, SP) - ND, 4.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R (both earned), 1 BB, 3 K, 2 WP, 1 Pick Off. A solid outing though not a stellar, but massive run support means that Colon once again misses out on an LBPRC win because he does not pitch the requisite five innings.  I can't really make any big piture observations here due to small sample size (only three starts). Needless to say, it's just great to see him pitching and getting innings in.

Jesus Aguilar (Leones del Caracas, 1B) - 1-4, 2 K.  Aguilar gets a hit for a third straight night as he continues to come out of his recent slump.  These recent performances have been good to see after he appeared to be wearing out earlier this month.

Erik Gonzalez (Leones del Escogido, SS) - 1-3, 1 R, 1 K.  Gonzalez ends a two-game hitless streak with a hit in Tuesday night's game.  An indication of how well his LIDOM season is going is that the night's effort actuallylowered his batting average from .371 to .370.

Jose Ramirez (Toros del Este, 3B/SS) - 0-4.  Ramirez's recent strong form with hits in eight of his last nine games hits a speed bump with this 0-fer night.  Hopefully, this is just an isolated bad outing.
