Around the Farm (ATF) takes a quick look at some of the daily performances by Indians prospects. This is a special fall and winter ball version of ATF that recaps all the offseason action by Indians players in offseason winter ball leagues.  The positions listed below are where the player was playing in the game.

Erik Gonzalez (Leones del Escogido, SS): 0-for-3, 2 K.  Gonzalez is slowing down some and his numbers are starting to level out.  In his last ten games going into Tuesday night's hitless effort, he wa posting a slash line of .297/.297/.459.  Those are actually solid numbers, but still well off his season pace of .360/.477/.486.

Carlos Moncrief (Gigantes de Carolina, DH): 1-for-6, 1 K. Moncrief's struggles at the plate in the LBPRC are starting to verge from the realm of small smaple sizes to that of disappointment.  Given his performance in Double-A Akron this past summer (.284/.354/.570 with 17 HR and 75 RBI, as well as 15 stolen bases in 22 attempts in 129 games), his showing in the Caribbean has been far less than had been hoped for.  Hopefully, some signs of his Canal Park form start reappearing before his confidence wears anymore.

Jesus Aguilar (Leones del Caracas, 1B): 1-for-3, 2 R, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 2 BB.  Aguilar continues to mash in his first game back after being out of the Leones lineup for five days with a hamstring injury.  While his "last ten" line is still underwhelming (.205/.295/.436), he has extended his current hitting streak to four games and picked up his 11th homer and 32nd RBI of the season as a whole in the game.  Now it's just a matter of keeping this form up and finishing strong.

T.J. McFarland (Caribes de Anzoategui [LVBP], SP): ND, 4.2 IP, 9 H, 2 R (both earned), 2 BB, 2 K, 1 HR. While not a particularly great outing, this would've been enough to get McFarland a win had he stayed in to get one more batter out.

Ezequiel Carrera (Navegantes del Magallanes [LVBP], CF): 1-for-3, 1 R, 2 BB, 1 K. Eze, now a minor league free agent, continued his solid Venezuelan campaign with this effort which saw him get on base three of the five times he came to the plate.

Jose Constanza (Toros del Este [LIDOM], CF): 1-for-4.  Constanza is now in the Atlanta chain having played last season at Triple-A Gwinnett and managed only his second hit of the Dominican season (admittedly, out of only ten at-bats in three games).
