Around the Farm (ATF) takes a quick look at some of yesterday’s performances by Indians prospects throughout the system. This is a special fall and winter ball version of ATF that recaps all the offseason action by Indians players in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) and the Caribbean Leagues. The positions listed below are where the player was playing in yesterday’s game.

Ryan Battaglia (Brisbane Bandits, 1B) - 0-4 - I wish I had some good news on Battaglia's southern hemisphere season, but I don't.  In four games, he is 0-for-12 and is posting a .000/.000/.000 slash line.  His strikeout to walk ratio is 5:0.  His only positive offensive statistic to date is an RBI he picked up five days ago when he reached base on an error,  While offseason ball can often be a place where sheer number of reps outweighs performance, there is some minimal level of performance required below which you get worried.  Ryan's offseason has been below that level of performance.  Hopefully we see a turnaround soon.

Francisco Lindor (SS) - 0-4, 1 K - Lindor follows up his first multi-hit ballgame in a while with an 0-fer. The stats continue to be secondary to him just getting more experience and ironing out a few things going into next year.

Tony Wolters (DH) - 1-4, 1 R - Wolters continues his fall trend of passable, albeit unspectacular, days at the plate.

Jose Ramirez (Toros del Este, SS) - 0-3, 1 R, 2 BB, 1 K - J-Ram continues to struggle with the bat in LIDOM (.108 after tonight's game), but solid plate discipline allows him to have a good night at the plate.

Carlos Moncrief (Aguilas del Zulia, PH-backup RF) - 1-1, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB (intentional) - Despite not entering the game until the eighth, Moncrief has the best night at the plate in the org on Friday.

Jesus Aguilar (Leones del Caracas, 1B) - 0-5, 1 BB (intentional), 1 K - The RBI Machine continues to struggle in Venezuela. In 13 games he is hitting just .250 with a .753 OPS, though has a .192 ISO which is more than acceptable.
