Around the Farm (ATF) takes a quick look at some of yesterday’s performances by Indians prospects throughout the system. This is a special fall and winter ball version of ATF that recaps all the offseason action by Indians players in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) and the Caribbean Leagues. The positions listed below are where the player was playing in yesterday’s game.

Francisco Lindor (SS) - 1-5, 1 RBI, 2 K, caught stealing 1 time - While this fall has not been the high point ofLindor's career, he continues to play hard, work, and improve his consistency. His Triple-A and AFL experience this season though show a player who definitely needs some time in Triple-A to start next season.

Jordan Smith (RF) - 1-4, 1 R - Jordan extends his hitting streak to four games and is now posting a .325/.364/.450 slash line in his last 10 games.  He's putting things together and maybe he still can salvage something this fall from what was a largely disappointing year for him.

Louis Head (RP) - BS (1), 1 IP, 3 H, 1 R (earned), 1 K - Unlike in his last outing, allowing three hits in an inning does result in a run and a blown save for Louis.

Jose Ramirez (Toros del Este, 2B) - 0-4, 1 K - J-Ram's second performance of the winter season doesn't go as well as his first.  It's too early to make any pronouncements on his performance based on his stats thus far due to the miniscule sample size. As a sidenote, he is not expected to play a full season in winter ball this year because of his status as the Indians everyday shortstop to start next season.

Audy Ciriaco (Estrellas Orientales, starting 3B) - 2-4, 1 K - A solid night for the free agent before being pinch run for by Diamondbacks prospect Socrates Brito in the 8th iining.

Ramon Rodriguez (Caribes de Anzoategui, RP) - H (1), 0.2 IP, 1 H - Ram-Rod remains dominant in the LVBP this winter season, lowering his ERA below 1.00 to 0.90 and earning his first hold of the offseason.
