AZL Indians Insider: 2013 season review - The hitters

Over the next few days I will be providing year-end pieces like this for all of the Indians six minor league affiliates. Due to the size of the rosters at Arizona and Mahoning Valley the pieces will be split into two, while the pieces for the other four full season affiliates in Columbus, Akron, Carolina and Lake County will be one big piece.

The Indians once again showcased a good group of talented players at rookie level Arizona and had a roster loaded with upside and some players who jumped onto the prospect scene. They went 28-28 on the season and were the only Indians minor league affiliate to make the playoffs – though they were immediately ousted in the first round in a one game playoff.
