AZL Indians split suspended doubleheader

PHOENIX-The Tribe took the second game of a doubleheader with the AZL Brewers, 13-5, in a pair of games that started on July 4th. The game was a shortened 7-inning affair as the conclusion of the suspended game from July 4th was played prior to this one.

As the final box score suggests, the offense was raking yet again. Every player on the team outside of Nelson Rodriguez had a base hit, and five players had a multi-hit game. The hottest of those bats was DH Manuel Boscan, who looks incredibly polished for just a 19-year old.

According to a scout, he’s “got to have the best eye at the plate in this league.”

Boscan went 3-3, though it should have been a 4-4 night as the home plate umpire...
