AZL Indians trounced 13-3 by Dodgers

CAMELBACK RANCH - Defensive woes, a lack of hitting and a tendency to give up moon shots triggered the AZL Indians’ troubles on Monday night as they were trounced by the AZL Dodgers, 13-3. Bladimir Franco and Tyler Ogle of the Dodgers made a home run derby of their own hitting mountainous home runs in the desert off of Jeffrey Cleto.

Dillon Howard started the game and while his box score line doesn’t look too appealing, he was actually quite solid in the game. His fastball velocity averaged around 90 MPH—throwing harder than any of his other outings—topping out at 93 MPH. Howard only went 3.2 innings on a strict pitch count per usual, struck out three and walked only one.
