Cabrera placed on DL, Juan Diaz called up
Cabrera was injured running out a fifth inning ground ball in Monday night's 7-4 loss in Yankee Stadium. For the season he is hitting .254 (52-for-205) with 28 runs, 18 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home runs and 25 RBI in 53 games. He currently leads the team and is tied for 4th in the AL in doubles (18) and tied for 12th in the league in extra base hits (team-high 25). He also owns a 33-game errorless streak.
Diaz has spent the entire season to date at shortstop for the Clippers and is hitting .211 (40-for-190) with 8 2B, 4 HR and 18 RBI in 52 games. He will be making his 2013 Major League debut with the club.
Infielder Mike Aviles is expected to be the everyday shortstop with Cabrera out, and with off days on each of the next three Thursday's this month, the Indians can probably play their regulars at third base, shortstop and second base on a more consistent basis. Diaz will get some playing time, but should be limited to spot duty and not play as much as Aviles did when he was the utility infielder.

Would there be any way to fix this, or to link to the minor league site instead?
