EASTLAKE, OH - Dorssys Paulino singled home Clint Frazier to cap a four run bottom of the fifth inning and the Captains went on to beat Fort Wayne 6-5.

The Captains won on a walk-off error. Lake County batted around in the bottom of the fifth inning, and used four hits, a hit batter and an error to plate the four runs. The Paulino single gave the Captains lead. Lake County swept Fort Wayne, and has now won five straight games.

Fort Wayne scored a pair of runs in the top half of the first inning. Lake County committed two errors in the frame. Fort Wayne used two hits to plate the runs and to take the early 2-0 lead. The TinCaps added a pair in the bottom of the second inning on a two run homer from Henry Charles. For Charles, it was his eighth homer of the season.

Lake County scored a run in the bottom of the fourth inning. With two outs and runners on the corners, Dorssys Paulino lined a single to center and the score was 4-1 TinCaps. Paulino had two hits on the night. Ivan Castillo had three hits and a RBI as well.

RHP Jordan Milbrath (3-12) was the starting pitcher for Lake County. Milbrath pitched four innings, and allowed four hits, four runs, three earned runs, four walks and three strikeouts. Caleb Hamrick pitched three innings of relief and allowed one hit and struck out three. Justin Brantley entered in relief and pitched a scoreless one inning. Carlos Melo (2-1) pitched the ninth inning and allowed one earned run but earned the win.

RHP Jimmy Brasobran (2-4) started the game for the TinCaps. Brasobran pitched four innings and allowed four runs, three earned runs, on five hits, one walk and six strikeouts. Fort Wayne used three relief pitchers to finish off the game. The loss went to Ryan Butler (1-1) after allowing one run in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Lake County hit the road for a six game road trip. On Sunday the Captains will open a three-game series with the Lansing Lugnuts. The Captains will start LHP Anderson Polanco (3-0, 1.79) and the Lugnuts will counter with RHP Brad Allen  (5-5, 3.51). First Pitch will be at 5:05 PM from Cooley Law School Stadium in Lansing, Michigan.
