Carrasco called up, Guilmet send back to Columbus

The Cleveland Indians today announced that they gave recalled right-handed pitcher Carlos Carrasco and have optioned right-handed pitcher Preston Guilmet to Triple-AColumbus.

Carrasco begins his fourth stint at the Major League level in 2013, posting an 0-4 record with a 9.10 ERA in six previous starts with Cleveland (28.2 IP, 47 H, 29 ER, 13 BB, 15 K).  Around his tenure with the Indians he has gone 3-1 with a 3.14 ERA in 16 games/14 starts for Triple-A Columbus (71.2 IP, 59 H, 25 ER, 21 BB, 79 K, .221 AVG, 9.9 K/9).

Carraco is slated to pitch out of the bullpen and will be in uniform tonight when the Indians take on the Angels at 7:05 PM ET in Progressive Field.
