Chen Named Midwest League Player of the Week

The Midwest League announced today that the Captains Chun Chen has been named Midwest League batter of the week for the week of May 10 through the 16.

Chen, a 21 year old catcher out of Hualian County, Taiwan hit .435 in six games. He had two doubles, three triples and a home run. Chen drove in five runs and scored four runs. For the season Chen has a .326 batting average with three homers and 16 RBI’s.
