Cleveland Sports Insiders 2.1: Let it Begin...
Indians need some pitching, Cavs need a coach, and the Browns....
The Cleveland Sports Insiders are back and ready to start a brand new season of CSI here on the Indians Baseball Insiders' Radio Network. Our show moves to Sunday Nights at 9:00, and hosts Jim Pete and Steve Orbanek have plenty to talk about in our inaugural 2013 show.
The Cleveland Indians don't seem to have much in the way of starting pitchers, which really shouldn't be a surprise to most. What should the Indians do? Should they stick with the status quo, should they bring up Carrasco and Bauer, or should they go out and make a trade?
The Cleveland Cavaliers recently completed another losing season, and will once again have a chance at the #1 pick. This year, they'll have the third best chance at that #1 slot. They also get the Lakers pick, which will slot in the top 20. Oh yeah, we also need a coach. Is this young team ready to win with the right offseason moves, or are they further away than people think?
The Cleveland Browns are heading into next weekend's draft with several questions that need to be answered. Will they go cornerback or offensive line or linebacker or defensive lineman? Could they take a linebacker, or might they trade down to grab more picks, since they lost their second rounder in the supplemental draft last season when they selected Josh Gordon? And oh yeah, what's going on with Browns owner Jimmy Haslam?
Yeah...another interesting weekend in Cleveland sports.
