Coach's Corner '12: Tony Arnold

I recently had a chance to sit down and have a conversation with former Double-A Akron pitching coach and new Triple-A Columbus pitching coach Tony Arnold about some of the pitchers he had at Akron this past season. We discussed several of the impressive arms in the starting rotation and bullpen and what kind of strides they made last season.

Q: The organization recently added left-hander T.J. House to the 40-man roster after a good year this past season where he went 10-5 with a 3.56 ERA in 27 combined starts between Akron and High-A Carolina. Most of those starts – 23 of them – occurred in Akron. You had him back in 2009 when he made his professional debut at Low-A Lake County, what changed for him since then?
