Big props to Denny today for the running live blog he did on the MLB Draft. Some great stuff, and good instant flash analysis. Now, yes, Denny is known to go over-the-top at times, but he knows his stuff. For those that missed all the comments, just scroll down the page. While I know a great deal about the minors, I knw very little about the draft since I don't follow anything leading up to it. Just not enough time to follow 200 players in this system AND know a couple 1000 draft prospects. Heh.

Anyway, Denny will be back here on Friday posting thoughts to the much faster Day 2 portion of the draft where picks will come in much quicker now that TV is no longer involved. Again, big ups to Denny.

On a baseball related note, the Indians signed LHP John Halama today to a minor league deal and assigned him to Buffalo.

Also, Jordan Brown has his most recent blog up today, and sort of gives some insight into what Draft Day was like for him.
