Goodyear Notebook: March 14th

It’s good to be back. Not just in Arizona for spring training, but back in the saddle for another baseball season. With so much youth and talent along with the volatility that comes with it where so many players can significantly jump in prospect standing or just as well crash and burn, this is going to be a fun ride this season.

Yesterday was my first day at minor league camp, and not much happened from a news perspective - which is a good thing. Players went through about an hour of PFPs, infield and outfield fielding practice, double steal defense, and other instruction on fundamentals. After that they had live batting practice for a little over an hour with pitchers throwing to the hitters, and that was it for the day.
