It was a turbulent week for the Indians as they clinched their first playoff berth in six years. The euphoria of October baseball returning to Cleveland spread to IBI as we prepared for the one-game wild card playoff against the Rays. Unfortunately, the celebration was short-lived as Tampa Bay shut out the Tribe at Progressive Field on Wednesday night to bring their storied season to an abrupt end.

As the IBI staff prepares for off-season Tribe coverage, here is what happened this week to wrap up a great season of Indians baseball.
