International Report: Indians adjust to new rules

The annual July 2nd spending spree on available international talent is fast approaching, though the rules have changed.

Like with the draft, Major League Baseball implemented significant changes to the way teams conduct business internationally and how they spend their money. Often referred to as the “wild, wild west” by many, baseball is hoping that these new changes help bring some order to some of the insanity that has cropped up over the past few years in the international market.
