Today the Indians promoted RHP Kyle Landis from Low-A Lake County to High-A Kinston. No word on who Landis is replacing in Kinston, and who is replacing Landis in Lake County.

My speculation: Landis may be taking the spot of RHP Mike Pontius in Kinston who may have tweaked something the other night and may be hurt. No confirmation on that yet. Also, the Lake County bullpen was overloaded, and with the departure of Ryan Miller and Russell Young recently there is an open rotation spot. When talking to Ross Atkins the other night he mentioned that RHP Bryce Stowell and RHP Danny Salazar would be pushed up soon, so expect one of those two to get the call from extended spring training here in the next day or so.
