The Cleveland Indians today announced that they have activated right-handed pitcher Zach McAllister from the 15-day disabled list and optioned right-handed pitcher C.C. Lee to Triple-A Columbus.

McAllister has been on the 15-day Disabled List since June 3 with a right long finger strain, the first DL stint of his career.  So far this season he is 4-5 with a 3.43 ERA in 11 starts (65.2IP, 68H, 25ER, 22BB, 45K, .264AVG), the last of which came on June 2 vs. Tampa Bay (4.1IP, 7H, 5R/4ER).  He recently made rehab starts on July 13 with AA Akron (3.1IP, 4H, 2R/ER) and July 18 with AAA Columbus (6.0IP, 2H, 0R).  He is slated to start tonight in Seattle.

Lee appeared in three games out of the bullpen for Cleveland after being recalled on July 12 (2.0IP, 0H, 0R, 3BB, 1K).
