The Indians have activated right-handed closer Chris Perez from the 15-day disabled list and optioned left-handed pitcher T.J. House to Columbus. House did not appear in a game since being called up on Monday.

The Indians have also traded infielder John McDonald to the Philadelphia Phillies for cash considerations or a player to be named later.

I have no problem with House being called up, not pitching, and sent back to cbus. He has proven that he occasionally needs a kick in the pants to get him going. They needed to shake something up, get him out of his routine since his routine wasn't working. Maybe this will get him going with the Clippers.
