eft-hander Chuck Lofgren was scheduled to go tonight but his sprained left thumb is too bothersome. He is likely going on the 7-day disabled list this weekend to make room for one of the two new pitchers in Columbus right-hander Jose Veras and left-hander R.J. Swindle.
