Rookie Notes: Booth impresses in AZL Indians loss

SURPRISE, AZ - It was another series of unfortunate defensive events for the AZL Indians on Wednesday night as the team committed five errors on the evening, a rather discouraging event considering their six errors committed the previous night. Shortstop Dorssys Paulino made his 12th error on the season and has 12 errors in 24 games. In all it led to a 9-4 loss to the AZL Royals.


Lefty Luis Lugo started the game and went just 1.2 IP surrendering 5 runs (1 ER) on 4 H and 3 BB’s. Lugo didn’t have a feel for his fastball on the night and was consistently throwing his 89 MPH heater high in the zone. When he wasn’t giving up free passes, he was giving up tomahawk base hits....
