Smith Activated In Akron

he Indians today activated right-hander Carlton Smith who was on the 7-day disabled list with a right shoulder impingement. He fills the hole in the bullpen with the departure of lefty Ryan Edell to Triple-A Columbus a few days ago. He was 12-6 with a 4.37 ERA at advanced Single-A Kinston last year and will pitch out of the bullpen in Akron. The roster is now full
