Smoke Signals 10/1: Season finale edition
Smoke Signals is back on the cyberwaves tonight from 9:00pm – 11:00pm EST. Tonight’s special two-hour show is hosted by Tony Lastoria and Jim Pete and is the final show of the season.
Tonight in the season finale of their show, Tony and Jim spend the first hour recapping the 2012 season. They talk about the Mannay Acta firing, the return of Chris Antonetti and Mark Shapiro, ownership’s commitment, and give some final thoughts on the roster. The second hour they will bring in the IPI's Steve Orbanek and discuss the upcoming offseason and the strategy that the Indians should implore to get things righted as quickly as possible, make some predictions on what the roster should/will look like when spring training opens in February, and what kind of free agent moves and trades they should look to make. This is one of the most critical offseasons they have had in some time, so there is a lot to discuss!
For those that are subscribed to the Smoke Signals feed through iTunes, you will also get other shows included in that feed. Every Sunday until the end of the baseball regular season “The Inside Pitch” runs for a half hour from 7:00-7:30PM EST and is hosted by IPI site contributors Jeff Ellis and Andrew Zajac. The show will have a strong focus on fantasy baseball, but will also cover other topics surrounding MLB and the Indians from time to time.
Another new show “The Cleveland Sports Insiders” is included in that feed and airs every Saturday from 10:30pm to 11:30pm. The show is hosted by IPI site contributors Steve Orbanek and Jim Pete and covers all Cleveland sports from the Browns, Indians, Cavaliers to the Buckeyes.
